Duke trustees increase tuition and fees for 2023-24 school year

According to Duke, the board announced an increase of 4.9% to the cost of undergraduate attendance.

DURHAM, N.C. — The Duke University Board of Trustees Saturday approved tuition and fees for the next academic year.

According to Duke University, the trustees approved to increase the undergraduate cost of attendance by 4.9%.

Trustees also approved new tuition and fees for Duke's graduate and professional schools as well.

In 2023-24, undergraduate tuition will be $63,450.

Room, board and required fees for student health recreation, activities and services will be $19,813, making the total cost of attendance for undergraduate students $83,263.

The trustees also reaffirmed Duke's commitment to access and affordability by providing financial aid for all admitted undergraduate students who qualify.
