DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) – Sarah P. Gardens at Duke University is a quiet place these days.

The popular 55-acre public garden on the campus is closed until further notice to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

But, don’t worry! You can still get a look at Cherry Allée in peak bloom. Horticulture director Bobby Mottern posted a beautiful picture of the trees filled with color and petals scattering the ground.

Cherry Allée draws as many as 8,000 visitors per day, according to Duke Gardens.

There is no word on when the garden will reopen but you can see flower pictures posted here.
