Effective March 5, 2024

Duke Health prioritizes your safety and well-being while recognizing the positive effect visitation has on our patients. Due to increased respiratory illness in our communities, we are updating our visitation restrictions after consultation with our Infectious Disease and Infection Prevention experts. To ensure a safe environment for everyone in our facilities, the following restrictions are in place across Duke University Health System.

  • Visitors must check in at the hospital information desk to receive a visitor badge.
  • Minors must be attended by an adult 18+ at all times.*
