The Impeachment trial. The Chief Justice will gavel it into session on Tuesday and we get a preview.
The impeachment trial of President Trump is underway in the Senate. At issue of course, is whether the President abused the powers of his office when he withheld aid to Ukraine. New information from a federal watchdog report concludes he broke the law.
Already impeached by the House, a verdict is now in the hands of the Senate. The trial is expected to last weeks, so we’ll sit down with some political experts to get a preview.
