Durham, NC -- Dr. John Niederhuber, director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) will hold a town hall meeting at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 2, in the Schiciano Auditorium in the Fitzpatrick CIEMAS Building.
Niederhuber is a nationally renowned surgeon and researcher who has dedicated his four-decade career to the treatment and study of cancer -- as a professor, cancer center director, National Cancer Advisory Board chair; external adviser to the NCI; grant reviewer, and laboratory investigator supported by NCI and the National Institutes of Health.
The meeting is co-sponsored with the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Department of Surgery.
