Shots Fired Near Campus; No Injuries Reported

Durham, NC -- Shots were fired at a car near Duke University’s campus early Friday, but no injuries were reported, Durham Police reported.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m. on Duke University Road near Anderson Street.
According to Durham Police spokesperson Kammie Michael, a fight at a club on Hillsborough Road preceded the shooting. The victims said they were driving on Duke University Road when a silver, two-door coupe suddenly sped up alongside them. Shots were fired from the coupe, but the three people inside the car were not struck, Michael said.
